It could only be kudos and bouquets for YAB Tun Jeanne Abdullah. In the above event she demonstrated in deeds and not words. We do not think a VVIP would have or is expected to roll up the sleeves and slip into rubber boots to wade in a muddy pond in Taman Lembah Kiara, TTDI on a Saturday morning! And all the more so YAB is not even a resident of TTDI! So what is her motivation?.

As Chairman of Landskap Malaysia she had the Vision, quote ‘ to create a Malaysian society ingrained with a culture that loves the environment and in particular the Malaysian landscapes as an invaluable national asset and heritage’.

A Vision translated to deeds and a hands-on approach. On behalf of TTDI RA, FOBK, TRAKS and all residents of TTDI I would like to say a big THANK YOU to YAB Tun Jeanne for choosing Taman Lembah Kiara as the venue for the very first event by Landskap Malaysia. And for walking-the-talk in joining the volunteers to re-landscape one of Taman Tun’s most popular parks. Tun Abdullah Badawi would have joined the event but had to rest as he was feeling a little below the wind on that day.

As part of our social responsibility to ensure our forests and the surrounding environment are protected for our future generations we look forward to supporting and participating in more similar ‘GREEN” programs in the future.
